    I was a complete novice baker prior to attending the Hankerie sourdough class. The class was held in a casual and relaxing setting, instructions were easy to follow, and Han Ker was so patient in answering tonnes of my questions. At the end of the session, we sampled the loaves we baked (see 1st pic) and took a loaf home, along with our sourdough kit and starter.

    I’ve been baking almost every weekend since then and it’s a real joy seeing my family enjoy healthy, home made (preservative free) sourdough loaves. As with anything, practice makes perfect, and I’m so glad I’ve picked up this new skill. It’s fulfilling to see the improvement in my loaves and experimenting on ways to use my sourdough starter – e.g pizza, spring onion pancakes etc.

    Thank you Hankerie for your sourdough class and I’d recommend this 100% to anyone who is keen on learning the art of baking sourdough.
